CALAKMUL LOCATION MAP
Calakmul is located in the mexican state of Campeche close to the Guatemalan border.
The mayan ruins are located about 63 kms from the village of Conhuas, Campeche.
We offer different tours in car to the actual Calakmul ruins in English or Spanish, and also walks on jungle trails to see flora and fauna.

Calakmul was a Maya power within the northern Petén Basin of the Yucatán Peninsula. Calakmul administered a large area marked by the extensive distribution of their emblem glyph of the snake head, to be read "Kaan". Calakmul was the seat of what has been dubbed the Kingdom of the Snake or Snake Kingdom.
